Job Summary:
As a dishwasher, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. You play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen and overall restaurant operations by maintaining a clean and organized dishwashing area.


Responsibilities:
  1. Dishwashing: Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment using manual and automated cleaning methods.
  2. Kitchen Support: Assist kitchen staff by ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes and utensils for food preparation.
  3. Equipment Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain dishwashing equipment, report any malfunctions, and follow proper procedures for equipment usage.
  4. Organization: Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas, ensuring easy access for kitchen staff.
  5. Trash Removal: Dispose of kitchen waste and trash in accordance with sanitation guidelines.
  6. Cleaning Duties: Contribute to general kitchen cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash bins, and maintaining a tidy work area.
  7. Adherence to Health Standards: Follow health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices, to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.

Qualifications:
  1. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
  2. Efficiency: Work efficiently to keep up with the demands of a busy kitchen and ensure a constant supply of clean dishes.
  3. Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to support overall restaurant operations.
  4. Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards to meet health and safety regulations.
  5. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  6. Reliability: Consistent attendance and reliability in completing assigned duties.
  7. Initiative: Take initiative to identify and address dishwashing needs, contributing to the smooth functioning of the kitchen.

A dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen, contributing to the success of the restaurant and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests.
